Check out some of the 2016 Ford Flex’s highlights:
Reverse Sensing System
The Reverse Sensing System, standard on
all models, emits a series of beeps when you’re nearing certain objects
behind the vehicle. The closer you get to the object, the quicker the
beeps.
3.5L Ti-VCT V6 Engine
The 3.5L Ti-VCT V6 in the Flex delivers
287 horsepower and 254 lb.-ft. of torque to help with many towing
applications. It has an EPA-estimated rating of 16 city/23 hwy/19
combined mpg FWD. Actual mileage will vary. It is mated to the six-speed
SelectShift® automatic transmission that lets you choose
between a fully automatic operation or the control of a manual
transmission without a clutch.
MyKey
MyKey technology, standard in every Flex,
lets you program individual keys so that two members of a household can
share a car, yet have personalized settings take effect when they use
their unique keys. It lets you designate a key to operate special
features, such as restricting the vehicle’s top speed to 65, 70, 75 or
80 mph and limiting the entertainment system’s audio to 44 percent of
maximum volume. It also provides a warning when the fuel tank reaches 75
miles to empty, allows the owner to select speed alert chimes at 45, 55
or 65 mph, and sets the Belt-Minder® to chime, while muting the audio system, until the safety belt is buckled.
